1. The 2021 American Eagles Coin is one of the most collected coins in the United States. Investors, collectors, and silver bullion buyers all hope to own one. The coin has an obverse design that features Lady Liberty with an American eagle in the background. The reverse has an image of an eagle carrying an olive branch in its talons.
2. The coin has a significant amount of silver, one troy ounce (31.10 grams), and an amount of 1.54% copper.
3. The original price for the coin in 1986 was $3.00, in 1996 it was $4.50 in 2005 it jumped to $7.50, in 2011 it jumped even higher to $21.00. Today, in 2016, the price is $19.06.
4. The coins are minted at the West Point Mint in New York. West Point has produced all of the American Eagle coins since 1986.
